I didn't get to celebrate this day last year since... A- I forgot and B- Jack was too young to really understand. So this year, I wanted to make up for that. All last week I began talking about leprechauns and candy and money to get him prepared for the visit that we had this morning. I picked up some cheapo decorations and gold chocolate coins to add to the magic and then I dyed the milk green and we had green eggs this morning. Jack seemed excited when he woke up and had a trail of golden money all the way from his door to the breakfast table. Jason made the green eggs and we all made sure to dress in green today. I love having kids for this reason. My mom always made every holiday special and now I get to do the same thing. Bring on Easter!!
Update on my ankle... I ran 3 miles on it on Sat... maybe not the brightest idea, but it felt ok... was a little more swollen yesterday so today I just lifted and biked instead of running on it. I think it should be good to go by Wednesday and if not then, then by the time we get back from St George.
Happy St Pattys Day everyone!!

P.S. You seriously ran on your bad ankle? Are you crazy?!?!
I wondered if green food was just something my mom did. Looks like it runs in the family. So much fun.
