Introducing our Cute Boy

Jason keeps telling me that I need to get some pics of our son, Jack up here. Jack is 13 months old and the cutest little thing in the world. I have enjoyed staying home with him, but it has gotten really fun the last couple of months! He can walk and has lots of words. I just love him!!

Jon Meets Apollo Ono!

Anyone who knows me, knows that I love celebrities! I can't get enough of People, Us Weekly and all those trashy mags! I would love to meet any star and on Thursday night I got my wish! We were over at my realtors house (we are moving) and she just happens to be friends with Apollo Ono, gold medalist and Dancing with the Stars winner! He was there too!! I was so starstruck and shy! He is moving to Utah to train for the Olympics and my realtor helped him with his house. She knew I wanted to meet him, and so did my brother Jon so she invited us over. He came a little bit after us. He was really down to earth and nice. When it came time to leave, we got up the guts to ask for a picture and he was kind enough to humor us! It was awesome!

Pictures of the Half Marathon

Provo Trail Half Marathon

Well, we did it! We have been talking about running a half marathon for about a year and we finally pulled it off! Jason and I ran with my sister Kristin, and my brother Jon. It was a great experience! We had to get up at the crack of dawn and be to the buses by 530am. Needless to say, my mom watched the baby for us! We got to the buses, drove up the canyon (noticed how long 13.1 miles is!) and started the race at 7am. We lost Jon right from the start... little 16 year olds can still move pretty fast! Kristin and I stayed together for about 5 miles and Jason brought up the rear. I felt really good up until about mile 10. After that my legs started cramping and my feet started to hurt. I almost cried at mile 11, but I pushed through it and when I saw the finish line I ran my heart out! I finished in 1 hour 52 minutes. Jon finished in 1 hour 37 minutes, Kristin in 1 hour 58 minutes and Jason in 2 hours 32 minutes. I am so proud of us! Especially Jason. He isn't much of a runner and he finished! Hooray for us!

Am I Smart Enough For This?

Well, due to the fact that time is short and technology is the wave of the future, we have joined the ranks and started a blog. I think it will be fun to keep family and friends updated this way and is a little cooler then myspace and all those other sites these days! However, I don't know if I can figure out all this fancy computer stuff, so I will give it my best. I am just staying at home with my son these days so hopefully I will have time to figure it out!

Thanks to Kim for getting me going on this, and hopefully we will have fun stuff to say!
