Catch-UP

Well, it has been a few months since I last wrote.... we have had a busy fall. We went to California for about a week at the end of September. We did it a little differently and went to San Diego this time. We hit Sea World, LegoLand and San Diego Zoo. We also did the beach and stayed in Redondo Beach for a night. It was a lot of fun. I will have a separate post about that.

In other news... Jason got a new job. He is now selling trucking insurance with the Buckner Company. He is working with my good friend Amy's husband JD. He and Jason are pretty good friends too and Jason is really liking working with him and sees a lot of potential. I hope that it works out. So far, it seems like he made the right choice.

Jack is loving kindergarten and thriving in his class. Since the clip incident, he is really good about not moving it down at all. During parent teacher conferences, she said she didn't remember the last time he moved it down. He knows about 20 sight words and got all E's on his report card. I am happy to see him doing so well and growing up to be such a sweet boy. I love him to bits and pieces. Right now, he is really into Legos, game time, friend time, reading and pretend playing. He seems pretty athletic and is just a happy boy. I hope he always stays like that. I will do a post on each child in the future with pictures, so I will leave it at that for now.

Savannah is finally starting to talk and says.. mama, b, baba, get down, ball, there, elmo, baby, please, color, no, mine, okay, owie, yeah. It was a long time coming and is a lot of fun to hear her sweet voice (or not so sweet depending on the situation). She loves Zoe and the cat. Loves her B, loves books and puzzles, copies everything Jack does and is starting to play really cute with him. She is a little firecracker and definitely has her own personality. She adds a lot of our family and it is a lot of fun now that she is getting older.

Jon comes home from his mission next week!!!! Can't believe it! We are starting our Christmas shopping and have a busy December coming up. I can't thank heaven enough for this little life I have. There are multiple times during the day that I reflect on how happy my family makes me. I am still working out and ran a 1/2 marathon in October that was a lot of fun. I am thinking about baby 3... so we will see how that goes! I love my life and am so happy I have the chance to be a mother!!

More posts to come....
