So, I have been tagged again, but it is in a slightly different fashion then the last one so I am going to do it again. I love talking about my hubby and our dating story so here it goes... Thanks Melissa! 1- What is his name? Jason
2- How long have you been married? Almost 5 years on Jan 24.
3- How long did you date? Well, I met Jason the day after I graduated from high school. He was 23, I was a measly 18 and he thought I was annoying. I had to worm my way into his heart over 2 and a half years. :) Plus I was going to Utah State for 2 of the years so we were doing the long distance, off and on thing.
4- Who eats more? Jason but only because he is a boy and I am always on a diet. I could probably take him if it was cake, ice cream or pizza.
5- Who said I love you first? Me... but I was tricked into it. It was Valentines Day 2002 and he had planned this whole big thing... flowers, a CD, carriage ride... the works and at the end of the night he asked how I was feeling or what I was thinking... I can't remember. But I said that I felt very loved and he said, "You are..." and then it was just quiet and then he asked what I was thinking again and I said I love you and he said it back. Sneaky guy.
6- Who sings better? Hmm... probably neither of us. We aren't singers. But since I am a girl it would probably be me.
7- Who is taller? Jason... 6'3" to my 5'4"
8- Whose temper is worse? MINE! We even got into a fight once about how he is always so calm! But I have seen him lose it once... on a trip with his family earning the nickname Leash from his brothers. :)
9- Who does the laundry? Both, but me mostly.
10- Who does the dishes? Same as laundry.
11- Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Jason... I have to be by the door.
12- Who does the cooking? Both, I'm trying to learn to cook more.
13- Who is more stubborn? ME, no contest.
14- Who proposed? Jason but it took him a month after he had my ring to get around to it! He had to get it just right and it was perfect!
15- Who is more likely to admit when they are wrong? Jason. I don't give in a lot of the time.
16- Whose parents do you see the most? Mine but we live closer to them and Jason's family is very busy.
17- Who pays the bills? Me
18- Who wears the pants in the family? Me, but Jason is very laid back and we generally agree on things.
19- Why do you love your husband? So many reasons. I love how he loves me... even when I am crazy and difficult. He puts up with me endlessly. I love how patient he is, how smart... he knows everything. I love how he can read something and remember it for the rest of his life. I love how he is with people and how caring he is of everyone. He puts everyone before him self to the point that he suffers sometimes. I love how he is with our son and what a good example he is I love love love how he tickles my head every single night so that I can go to sleep while he watches TV. I just love him to bits and am so happy that he is my husband!!
That was fun. I take him for granted a lot so hopefully he reads this and knows that he is appreciated! I am tagging... Celeste, Kim, Kimmy my cousin, Megan, Kathie and Erica.

Snowy Day
Gingerbread Houses
I am not a crafty person by any means, but when you have kids you do things with them that you wouldn't normally do. The other day Celeste and Belle came over and we attempted to make a gingerbread house with the kids. As we soon found out, the candy was eaten before it even made it to the house and Jack found out that tearing the roof off and throwing the candy inside was more fun then sticking it on the house.
Jason was assigned to make a gingerbread house for work so in my attempt to restore my dignity and make a suitable house, we enlisted the help of my dad and sister and it turned out to be a masterpiece! Look at the difference between the two! We had a lot of fun with both! Next we will try sugar cookies!

Trip to San Diego
We have finally taken Jack on his first airplane ride. We just got home from San Diego, where we spent Thanksgiving. We flew in on Tuesday, before Thanksgiving, and just come home today. My cousing Carson got married in the San Diego Temple. It was a lot of fun! My family met us there on Thursday so we did get some family time in but for the most part it was just my cute family on our first vacation together! We stayed in LA on the first night, San Diego for 4 nights and then Beverly Hills last night. We hit the beach, the mall, Sea World, and went star searching on Rodeo Drive, in Bel Air and Beverly Hills. It was so much fun, but I have to say I am happy to be home. Jack did really well, and I think that he had a lot of fun!! He loved Sea World and was very interested in everything that went on there. He was saying Shamu by the end of the day! He also loved the beach and ended up falling in the ocean within about 10 minutes. Perfect weather the whole time and it was really nice to be able to see my cousin get married! Happy trails!

I Have Been Tagged
I have been tagged... the rules of the game go like this... I will tell 6 things about me that some people may or may not know. Then, at the end of the post I will tag 6 people (if I know that many who blog) and they can continue the game! Thanks Kim... makes me feel special!
I love to read. So much so that I often neglect my family and child when I am reading a good book. I can only go to the library every so often and space a month or so between books. I was reading books every day for awhile until Jason said ENOUGH!! :)
I love to work out. More then I should and can be a little obsessive about this as well! I am planning on running a marathon/and triathlon before the next baby comes!
My hubby and I have been married almost 5 years and I knew I was going to marry him the day that I met him. He had to be convinced. :) We are very happy and I couldn't imagine my life without him.
I really really want a daughter!! Am hoping that my next child will be a girl. I have two sisters and one brother and Jason has no sisters so I am a little nervous it won't happen! There has to be a girl up there for me! Jack would love a baby sister!
I hate hate hate making dinner. I would much rather go out. Choosing what to have, cleaning up after... it seems like a waste of time when Cafe Rio is just down the street. I guess I will have to learn to live with it though.
Last but not least, I love my son Jack. I could laugh at him all day and am so happy he is not a newborn anymore! He is learning so much and I love to hear him say MOON, DADDY and MOMMY. He loves the moon... I don't know why... maybe he will be an astronaunt!
Well there you have it. Things you probably knew but I had fun sharing! I am tagging... Melissa, Celeste, Kimmy (my cousin), Kathie, Erica (when they get blogs) and Megan.

Sweet Friends
Marathon and Triathlon- ERS
Since I had Jack, I have struggled to get back into shape. What I have found that helps is training for something to compete in! You all saw the pictures of the half marathon in August, and since then I didn't really have my sights set on anything in particular. Kristin ran the St George marathon in October and did awesome! 4 hrs 11 minutes. I was so jealous. Crazy, I know... but I wish that I would have done it with her. But, you have to sign up for that months in advance... anyway, Kristin suggested doing a triathlon this past weekend and so I did get to do this one with her. We only had two weeks to get ready and I only swam once! Swimming is not my forte.... Anyway, we did it anyway and it was a lot of fun! It was 3.1 miles of running, 10 miles on the bike, and a 350 meter swim. We finished together in a little less then an hour and a half. I can't wait to do another one!
Happy Halloween!
Halloween this year was a lot of fun! Jack was really getting into it, considering he is only a year old. I decided to have him be a tiger because he loves to roar. The outfit was so cute and he really loved wearing it. He didn't even mind the hood! We did a lot of fun things, including trunk or treating at Grandma Cindys dance studio, visiting Dad at work and going to Provo to visit both aunts. He was pooped by the end of the day so we didn't take him trick or treating, but I think he had fun all the same.
We also had a house warming/Halloween party and carved pumpkins. Jack thought it was cool, but was scared of the seeds and all the gross stuff inside.
Happy Halloween!!
Jacks First Boo Boo
Well, most people who know me well, kno that I can not live without the gym. Since we have moved closer to my favorite place, I can now take Jack at more convienent times and not have to suffer through 545am workouts. We have been going around 9am most everyday and Jack has just loved going to the daycare and playing with all the kids. He had been doing really well, no crying at all, for about 4 weeks until one Wednesday I came to pick him up and he was just bawling. I didn't think anything of it at first... maybe just a bad day. So I take him home and get him in the tub and I notice bite marks on his shoulder. Hmm... I guessed that he took a toy away from some kid and paid the price, but at least the explained his crying. So, I take him again the next morning. I am in cycling, working my butt off and the daycare lady comes in after about half hour. Oh great... noone likes to see her, especially in the middle of a workout. Luckily they came in for someone else. I watched the mom leave and they stood outside talking for a minute and then motioned for me. Yuck. So, I grab and diaper and head out. They say to me... a little girl has just bitten your son right above the eye. Now things are coming together. Oh, I say... she must have been the one to bite him yesterday too... Surprise all around at the mention of another bite. So, I go down to check on Jack, thinking that they will be right behind me. Jack is a mess and won't let me put him down so I head back up to get my stuff, with him in tow, and the other mom has just gone back to class! I was so mad! She should have had to go and take her daughter out of there. Instead I am taking my maimed child home and I miss half my workout! What a day!
Jack healed quickly and has returned to loving the gym with me everyday! But what a crazy experience!
Our First House
Well, as I have said we have moved from our first house! It was kind of a sad experience. We built our house and so I was a little sad to see it go. I am relieved, however, that we are in our new house, and that our other house sold. It was a little iffy there for awhile. We have been in our new house for about 3 weeks and we love it!! It is so central to everything and with all the work we put into it (new paint, new carpet and new tile) we are really feeling at home. We love our new ward and just everything about our new house!
For our last night in our old house, we had KFC and finished packing. It is weird that Jack won't even remember that house! Here are some pics of moving day!
What a Break!!
I know, I know... where the **** have we been??? I haven't posted anything in months! Well, first off, we moved... and have been without a computer... second, all my pictures on my camera were packed and third... we have just been so busy!! But I am blogging today and we will get you all caught up!

Las Vegas
So, Jack has seen Las Vegas! I don't know if he is too young to go there or not! I took him down with me and my friend Kathie this past weekend. I was a little worried to take him all by myself, but I really felt like I needed that time with him, just him and me. I shouldn't have worried. He was the ideal baby the whole time. He slept like an angel, went everywhere and didn't even need all of his naps to keep him happy. I am really glad that I brought him! We stayed with Kathie's sister and did a lot of fun things. But it was mainly nice to not have to clean and let Jason handle all of our mortgage/moving stuff!
We did a few major things: we first went to the Body Museum at the Tropicana. It was AMAZING! I don't know if everyone has heard of that or not but it is a display of real human bodies that allow us to see the muscles, skin, brain, veins, etc. Bascially everything in the body... I have now seen! My favorite part was the baby area because we were able to see embryos as young as 3 weeks, and everything else to do with making babies! It is just so crazy how our bodies work.
We also hit the fountains at the Belligio, the Cheesecake Factory and the mall. It was nice to hang around and relax! Thanks to Kathie for taking us with her!

My New Sister In Law!
The Last Few Weeks
I know it has been awhile! We have been super busy! We are in the process of moving right now, which is always a joy. We are just about packed up and ready to go. Jason will be moving the house on Saturday morning, with friends, while I take Jack to Sin City! Kathie and I are going for a girls weekend. I figured since I did most of the packing Jason can take care of heaving lifting! I am excited!
I also have enrolled in real estate school. The realtor that is selling our house and helping us with the new one wants me to be her assistant. It will be fun to have something to do on the side and nice to have a little extra money. I start today.
We went to the Greek Festival and had a picnic for the last time in our backyard. I am going to miss our first home, but am so excited for the next step!
Here are some pics from the last few weeks!
