Pregnancy Update

 At about 16 weeks
 24-25 weeks
 At about 25 weeks

I was so good about updating when I was pregnant with Savannah.  Now, I can barely get to this every three months!! Since I am about 28 weeks pregnant, I thought I would give a brief update on how things are going with this pregnancy.  I have really liked having my updates to look back on.  So far, things have been going very well!!! This has been the easiest and most pleasant pregnancy of them all.  We got pregnant right out of the gate... one time shot. So, that right there was easier than Savannah.  I didn't get sick (not very much), Kris is pregnant with me and only a few days ahead of me.  I have been able to run and am still running.  Last week I ran 5 miles on Friday.  I am running about 2.5 twice a week and 5 once a week.  I bought a belt that has made all the difference.  Besides having to pee with every step, I can barely tell I have this giant basketball hanging off my tummy.  :) The weight gain has been good and I think I am within a pound of where I was with Savannah at this stage.  I weigh about 144, which makes the total about 16 pounds.  I'm pretty happy with that and feel pretty cute.  Everyone seems shocked when I say how far along I am and that is good for the ego when you feel like such a fatty.  :) The only eventful thing that has happened with this pregnancy is that I had to go back for another ultrasound at 22 weeks to get a better picture of her heart.  Nothing was wrong, and it was fun to see her again.  Other than that, this whole pregnancy has been PERFECT!! I go to the doctor tomorrow and will hopefully pass the glucose test and nail down a date to be induced.  We have bought a van and a bed (for Savannah) so those were the major things we needed to do to get ready for her.  I am super excited to have another girl.  Savannah loves babies and without really ever being around them, knows what to do with them and loves to put them to bed and feed them bottles.  I am hoping that she will love her just as much.  I think they will be great friends! I think we have settled on the name Molly, but we keep going back and forth.  It might change once she is here.

Now, onto Savannah's birthday and a spring update. I hope to get to that before I have this baby!!

WINTER POST

Well, I am officially crappy at this blogging thing anymore. I don't even know what to say that has been going on. I guess the only news this time really (besides pictures and the usual updates with those) is that baby #3 is on the way. I am about 21 weeks along now and due on July 29th. It was so crazy because we got pregnant really fast this time around, so the pregnancy has flown by and I have felt relatively good. I am just beginning to pop out and am still able to run, thanks to an awesome maternity belt I bought to support my tummy. Working out makes all the difference in how you feel!! The kids are excited about the baby and Jack is into it more this time around than he was with Savannah. Savannah loves babies and anything to do with them, so I think she will be a great helper. She thinks that she has a baby in her tummy too! We are pretty excited that this one is another GIRL!! So, we are working on names and I'm super happy that Savannah will have a sister! Jack was "expecting a boy" but he seems okay with a girl too. Other than that, we are just hanging out and enjoying things.

Jack is almost down with Kindergarten. We thought about putting him into a Dual Immersion program at Horizon, but decided against it because he has such fun in the school he is in. He has the cutest little group of friends and I just can't bring myself to take him away from them. Two of them live on our street and it is such fun to have them run in and out and around everyday after school. He is getting better at reading and just learned how to ride his bike yesterday. He was so proud of himself and has been riding nonstop for the past two days. Makes me happy to have him away from video games for awhile!! He will start soccer in a few weeks and played basketball over the winter. I am excited to see him grow up even more over the next few months before 1st grade. I really can't believe that he is this big already!

Savannah is doing great and starting to talk a lot more. We were worried about that for awhile, but she is a good little communicator and will be talking a blue streak in no time. She is completely quirky and has such a funny little personality. She loves Jack and wants to do whatever it is that he is doing. She calls him "The Boy" and follows him around everywhere. He has such a busy social life, that she is mostly my little buddy and I love that she is still a mamas girl... unless I piss her off! :) I have a feeling she will love this summer. She loves to swim and be outside... so here's to me never getting anything done around the house!!

Jason and I are doing well. Jason's job is going very well and he enjoys it. I am still working and working out and keeping up with kids. Can't wait to have this baby and settle into a new normal. It seems when I am pregnant life gets put on hold a bit!!

Here are some fall pictures from 2011. I am making a resolution today to spend more time on this blog and get all the years from 2007-2011 printed up. I am pretty happy with how well I have done so far, but I have definitely slacked a bit and in interest of time, I will just post pictures with captions for now to get caught up. :)

Here are some pictures from our vacation to California in September. We really had a wonderful time, but are looking forward to going to Disneyland again. There is no better theme park than that!!!
