I am ashamed to say that I have been sucked into the Bachelor this season. I didn't watch when Jason was on the Bachelorette, but knew that he was a fan favorite and I can see why. He is such a cutie and really seems to be different then the past losers that have been on the show. I hope that he is really there for the right reasons. All the girls seem to be cute and genuine as well. I am excited to see who he chooses... MOLLY or MELISSA! I love them both.... (I was happy to see Jillian go... She was terrible and I especially wanted her to shut up when he was walking her to the limo. Just leave with dignity lady.) But, the reason for my post is to express my dismay that stupid Deanna is allowed to come back and mess with his head during the finale. I have no idea what happens or if he is stupid enough to take her back, but I have to say... SHE HAD HER CHANCE!! Now, I know that they are probably only bringing her back for the drama, but I think we can all agree that we just want a successful Bachelor story... It has been MANY years since Ryan and Trista and I hated Trista... I want a love story for two people I love! Anyway, enough of my soap box... I was just really ticked when I saw the preview last night. Am I the only one watching??
PS: Zoe is half black lab, half dalmation.

Zoe!
We would like to introduce you to the newest member of our family! We got a puppy for a Valentines/Birthday present. We found her on KSL and fell in love with her. I have been thinking about getting a puppy for awhile and a few weeks ago we saw Marley and Me and that sealed the deal. Jack was tormenting our cat and needed a friend to play with. So far, they are getting along great. Zoe is proving to be smart and seems to be getting the whole potty thing down. We just have to remember to take her. I am busting out the squirt bottle today because she is starting to chew everything in sight. We have done the dog thing before and ended up getting rid of Kaya, but I think we should have gotten a puppy to begin with. She is really sweet. I am excited to do a lot of fun things with Jack and her this summer.
Another reason we got her was because we are having a harder time getting pregnant this time around. I feel like it is an elephant in the room because Jack is almost three and everyone is wondering why we don't have number two yet. I haven't said anything on the blog about it, but most of you already know so I guess it isn't that big a deal. Anyway, we are trying and recently found out that I have a thyroid issue so hopefully that has been what has been holding us up. We really haven't been trying as long as some couples do (only about 9-10 months), but still... it is frustrating all the same. We are working with a good doctor so hopefully within the next few months we will be annoucing another addition to our family. For now, my motherly urges will be met by caring for my sweet puppy (and Jack of course)!

Playhouse Disney!
v
Last week, we took Jack to see the Playhouse Disney show that came to the Energy Solutions Arena (that will always be the Delta Center to me). Our boy loooooves TV. He is my kid through and through. We saw a commercial for the show while we were at the Anniversary Inn and decided to get tickets. It was a little pricey, but so fun. Jack loved it and has been talking about it all week. The show had plenty of songs and it wasn't very long so he didn't get bored. He was stoked to get the $12 snow cone and Rocket cup. These things are such rip-offs! I couldn't believe the prices of all the soveniers. We had to settle on getting him a Handy Manny flag that still cost $6! Oh, well... such is the life with kids!
It it such fun to finally be able to experience this kind of stuff with him. Actually, I don't mean "finally..." He is growing up way to fast for my liking, but it is fun to experience all of this with him. He also has been signed up for preschool next year... where did the time go?!
